The Portrait Restaurant by Richard Corrigan in partnership with Searcys offers unrivalled panoramic views of Trafalgar Square and the Houses of Parliament. Located on the fourth floor of the National Portrait Gallery, serving all-day contemporary British menus infused with Irish classics and flavours inspired by Corrigan's career, The Portrait is the perfect place for a leisurely lunch after exploring the wonders of the Gallery below or a memorable evening culinary experience in with iconic London views.

Venue Policy
For reservations from 5:45pm onwards on Wednesday and Thursday, please use the restaurant entrance located on Orange Street. For all other reservations you can access through the Galleries main doors, The National Portrait Gallery is open until 9pm on Friday and Saturday.
The Portrait Restaurant operates as a cash-free restaurant and bar. We currently take payments through contactless, debit & credit cards, Apple Pay & Google Pay.
NOTE: Any items larger than 56 x 25 x 45 cm are not permitted in the building.
Folding bicycles, skateboards and adult scooters are not permitted in the building.
In the interests of security, it may be necessary to conduct bag searches. Visitors are asked to present any bags to Security staff for inspection on request.
